Suspended Google Business Profile
Google customer reviews can substantially lift a business website’s local search rankings. However, Google had suspended Sniper Pest Control’s Google profile and Tommy wasn’t sure how to fix it.
Tommy needed these Google reviews to promote his new business and to gain trusted referrals. As a solution, Harmony Digital contacted Google on Tommy’s behalf to work out why the account was suspended.
As Sniper Pest Control was a new business Google needed assurance that Tommy was an authorised pest controller. We submitted Tommy’s ASIC business certificate and Queensland Government pest control registration to Google. This paperwork satisfied Google and they released the Google Business verification code so the profile could be published.
Tommy is now having great success with customers posting testimonials on his Google profile.
Sniper Website Crashes and Security Issues
After Harmony Digital fixed the Sniper Google Profile Tommy asked us to fix his website. Tommy’s old website was cloned from a friend’s pest control site. However, copied website content is a red flag for Google, and the cloned website’s metadata all pointed to West Australian locations. This meant that the Sniper website wasn’t ranking in Brisbane for local Google Search results.
The old website also had a range of technical issues and was continually crashing due to out of date software, coding conflicts, corrupted directory files, and issues with the hosting service.
As an interim solution, Harmony Digital migrated the old site to Andfer Technologies, a trusted Australian website and domain hosting provider.
We also stabilised the old website by removing conflicting software and we installed quality WordPress plugins. The website security was then beefed up and Two Factor Authentication (2FA) was added to guard again hacking and malware attacks.
New Sniper Pest Control Website
Harmony Digital has now replaced the old Sniper site with a new, search engine optimised WordPress website that features close to 8,000 words of copyright free content.
The new Sniper website includes dedicated Home, About Us, and Contact Us pages. After brainstorming with Tommy, we also built dedicated pages to promote Sniper’s unique selling proposition, and Sniper’s most popular services. These pages promote Sniper’s Thermal Camera Pest Inspections, Pest Control Services, and Pre-Purchase Pest Inspections.
